Check out this interview with Derrick Burts, a former adult film performer who contracted HIV on set. We at AHF salute him for his bravery in sharing his story, as well as for his efforts to help other performers by speaking about his experience and advocating for condom use. http://aumag.org/wordpress/?p=3122

On the eve of World AIDS Day and as part of its ongoing campaign to require the use of condoms in porn films, AIDS Healthcare Foundation hosted a press conference today at the City of Los Angeles/San Fernando Neighborhood City Hall to announce we have gathered sufficient signatures—over 64,000 registered voters—needed to qualify a City of Los Angeles ballot initiative. The ballot initiative campaign is called FAIR (For Adult Industry Responsibility).
